CAST

 

Writer and Director Amanda Douge, is a multi award-winning actress, director and theatre-maker with over eighty professional stage and screen credits in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. She recently filmed the role of Andromache in Netflix's upcoming KAOS. She has completed a Masters of Letters in Creative Writing, and is currently a Doctoral candidate at The University of Glasgow. She was the recipient of an Ian Potter award  for excellence which enabled her to study the work of directors at Berlin's Theatre Treffen. 

Passionate about educating and inspiring, Amanda's work for young people has developed over the past eight years. For children she has directed and produced The Helicopter, The Tale of the Singing Goats, When Night Becomes Day (by special arrangement with Forced Entertainment), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Into the Woods and 3 short original plays.

She has trained the ensemble of this production for six years in the combined techniques of Michael Chekhov, Keith Johnson and the voice work of Cicely Berry.
